About Me.
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Minnesota. My research and teaching interests include gender, work and occupations, law and deviance, stratification and the life course, and sport. My dissertation, Playing Like a Boy: Gender, High School Sport Participation, and Early Career Success, explores how sport participation affects girls' and boys' attainment and occupational choices.
